I am an artist with an interest in the environment. Six years ago, I set up a workshop where women can learn to make artwork out of recycled materials. The goal was to enable women to make money – and encourage their independence.
My workshop is a place where women gain confidence through being productive and creative.
Sudanese women are strong. Even if they are constrained, they always have the inner strength to make decisions. Nothing is going to stop Sudanese women from reaching their goals.
